Ohio-based Republic Steel, a subsidiary of Mexican Simec SAB de CV has contracted with United State Steel Corporation(USSC) to supply maximum of 450,000 tons of tube rounds for USSC's tubular products from its new installed Electric Arc Furnace(EAF) by the beginning of 2014.This new joint venture agreement will consider as a step forward for both company to expand their steel domain covering within North American region.
